After impressing critics last year with the release of his first big feature The Machine, Welsh director Caradog James looks set to cement his status as one to watch with his latest production Don't Knock Twice.

The horror, currently filming in Wales with a strong British cast including Lock Stock's Nick Moran, centres around a mother desperate to reconnect with her troubled daughter, who becomes embroiled in the urban legend of a demonic witch. Meanwhile The Machine, a low-budget sci-fi film about the creation of a sentient cyborg which debuted to much praise at the Tribeca film festival in 2014, now looks set to be made in a TV series in the US following its success.
